Terms for using EngineDeck

Last updated September 18, 2026

The short version. EngineDeck gives your business a private workspace that reads the sources you connect and shows what needs attention, with the records behind every finding. You stay in charge of what is connected and what you do about it. Your company's knowledge remains yours.

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are an agreement between EngineDeck and the business ("you", the "company") whose owner creates or accepts a company workspace. By signing in to a workspace or connecting a source, you agree to these terms on behalf of that business. EngineDeck is a business service and is not intended for personal or consumer use.

2. The service

EngineDeck imports a bounded window of records from the sources a company owner connects, stores them in a workspace that belongs to that company, and produces findings such as messages that may need a reply, the organizations and people the company works with, and cited notes about projects, decisions and open questions. Every finding links to the source records it was based on. EngineDeck reads; it never sends messages, changes records or acts in your other systems.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Your content and your knowledge

You own the content you connect and the knowledge the workspace builds from it. You grant EngineDeck the limited rights needed to store, process and display that content to your company's members and to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you leave EngineDeck, you can request a readable export of your company's findings and notes before deletion.

5. Connected accounts

Connecting a Google account grants EngineDeck read-only access to Gmail under the permissions shown on Google's consent screen. You can disconnect from the workspace or from your Google account settings at any time. Our handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

6. AI processing and spending caps

EngineDeck sends limited excerpts of connected content to an AI model provider to produce findings. Each company workspace has a daily AI spending cap that you can adjust within the limits we offer; when the cap is reached, processing pauses until the next day and the workspace says so. Fees for the service, if any, are set out in your order or agreement with us.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and to give notice of significant changes, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Termination

You may stop using EngineDeck at any time by disconnecting your sources and asking us to delete your company's data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if we must do so to protect the service or comply with law, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EngineDeck is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on findings, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
